Is it possible to major in both fine arts and fashion design?

Question by zahyra33: Is it possible to major in both fine arts and fashion design?
I’m 16 and i will be a junior this coming september. i am both interested in art and fashion design. is it possible to major in both or major in fine arts and have a minor in fashion design.i live in california and there are some really good arts schools in san francisco but i’m not sure which one to go to.

fashion design would probably be better as a major over fine arts. try to check with schools if you can take fine arts as a minor. either way in your first & second year you might have to take art classes.

    you can double major. Most colleges do have double major programs, so I would say check with your schools. One of my best friends is triple majoring, and he’s only spending about six years in one college and then transfering out to get his PhD. Talk to one of the counselors at the schools that you are looking into, they can give you a lot of help. Good Luck!

    yes you can do anything you want. there are people who become doctors, lawyers plus much much more, you just have to be hard working and devoted to making your dreams come true. there is no reason you cant do both.
